Logo design for a Suffolk based silver jewellery maker. Silverlings is an ancient term meaning ‘little pieces of silver’. The client had several suggestions for what the logo ‘icon’ could be, all based on items of jewellery she had designed. The shape of the swallow worked the best with the style of the lettering. Versions of the logo suitable for foil-blocking on packaging were also created. A mock-up of a stall was created for exhibiting at jewellery fairs and shows.
Tam designed a logo and identity for my silver jewellery-making business. I was delighted with the results – she came up with exactly the sort of thing I hoped for with delicate designs and typography that encapsulated my work beautifully. I found her very understanding about the image that I wanted to portray and the results were imaginative and original. – Sue Heaser
