With all my photography services I favour a simple, natural, reportage style that makes use of the natural light available when possible. I do however often use artificial lighting for food photography to help ensure consistent and accurate colours.

The sample pricing on this page is intended as a guide only. I can give a more accurate idea of price after having an initial discussion about the sort of images you require and also after taking into account other expenses such as travel and special post-processing requirements.

Photography Services

Social Media Photography

It is important on social media to use high quality images when you post, that are carefully curated to fit with your brand identity and are engaging in order to encourage new followers. Social Media Photography can involve creating images for a specific campaign such as a seasonal promotion. Or it can mean providing a variety of images that fit with your values and brand identity that can be added to your Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages over several days or weeks.

Event Photography

Photographing events to create images that can then be used in print and digital brand communications, social media and other marketing purposes. I have a reportage style of event photography, making use of natural light, and un-posed, candid shots.

Food Photography

Food photography for restaurants, cafes, shops. I shoot the food in situ, (within the restaurant or cafe, rather than in a studio), with a table top lighting set up. Set up is quick and simple, and several dishes can be shot this way straight from the kitchen in a relatively short space of time, and with minimal disruption to any customers present.

Interior Photography

Interior photography of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, houses and more. A combination of types of shot may be used to capture both wide expanses and to focus on smaller room details or special products etc.

Exteriors Photography

Exterior photography of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, houses, gardens and more.

Environmental Portraits

An environmental portrait is when the subject is photographed in a particular environment, perhaps the place where they work, their home, or anywhere that relates to who they are, to give further insight into the life or character of the subject. I may use a combination of the ambient light and artificial light to take the best shot, but the style of the portrait will always be as natural as possible.

Location Portraits

A more traditional style of portraiture. With location portraits, a suitable indoor or outdoor location may be used as a setting for photographing the subject, to create an interesting backdrop to the portrait.

Initial Consultation – Free

To discuss any aspect of the photography and design services.

Food Photography Shoot – £150

Great for creating images to announce new menu items on social media, and to update image galleries on websites.

1 hour shoot, which is time for shooting approximately 5–7 dishes
Editing and post processing
Delivery of approximately 3 images per dish shot

Interior and Exterior Photography Shoot – £180

Useful for seasonal social media promotions (such as promoting interiors decorated for Christmas, or for highlighting an outside seating area in the summer).

2 hour shoot of approximately 5–7 interior and exterior areas
Editing and post processing
Delivery of approximately 3–5 images per area shot

Staff Portraiture Photography – £60

Create images that are great for using on social media posts or website ‘about us’ pages. The subjects are shot in their work environment, giving customers an insight into your business and brand.

30 minute shoot per person
Editing and post processing
Delivery of approximately 5 images per person

*£60 for one person, £45 for each additional person
